Did you forget your Password?

Razorback trying to Login

If you’ve forgotten your e-mail password, you’re not alone. Each day the University fields many calls from prospective students who’ve lost their passwords and find they can’t register for housing or orientation as a result. To reset your password, follow these simple steps:

1.       Have you previously activated your UARK username (if so, skip this one)?Your UARK username (sometimes referred to by students as the e-mail ID or ISIS ID) is not the same as your ID number. Your ID number is provided by the admissions office in official correspondence. If you’ve not already activated your e-mail account, please visit http://newuser.uark.edu. If you have already activated the account, skip to the next step.

2.       Do you remember your reminder question and answer (if not, skip this one)? When you create your e-mail, you can set a reminder question and answer as another means of accessing your account. To use this option, visit https://www2.uark.edu/web-apps/comp/techserv/account/passweb/Forgot. If not, skip to the next step.

3.       Submit a written request to the University to have your password reset (this is the only other option). Complete the form available by visiting http://www.uark.edu/registrar/classes/ResetEmailAndISISLogin.html, and mail it to the Office of the Registrar at the address provided. For quicker service fax this form to (479) 575-4651, ATTN: Registration.

4.       Await a response and reset your password. The Office of the Registrar will process your form in a timely manner and will notify you by phone when the password is reset. To select a new password, you have 24 hours from your phone call to choose a new password by visiting http://www.uark.edu/renewuser. If you do not complete the process in time, you will have to submit a new request.

5.       Write down your password and keep it in a secure location! Your password will be very important to you once you get to the University. With it, you will be able to register for classes, pay your bill, accept financial aid, and, well, check your e-mail.

Please Note: For your privacy and security, University officials are not able to access your password, and we cannot assist you by phone. Nevertheless, if you have questions about the process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
