Important Dates

  • Attend a preview day or visit campus

    We host preview days in the summer, fall, and spring, and you can plan a campus visit six days a week, three times a day.

  • April-Dec - Take the ACT

    Not all students take the ACT as early as April of their junior year, but it can be a good test run to prepare you for the test during your senior year. You can always retake it, and it's offered in June and three times in the fall. We will only look at the best scores you have for both admissions and scholarship purposes, so take it again if you aren't happy with your first score.

  • Oct-Jan - Submit FAFSA for priority consideration

    You can submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.

  • Nov 1 - Priority Application Deadline

    The application for the following year's fall term goes live in mid-July. Along with submitting your online application, take these steps to meet the deadline:

    • Pay the application fee - $40 (AR residents) or $55 (out-of-state residents)
    • Submit test scores - ACT and/or SAT, if applicable (see Test Score Policy)
    • Submit official transcripts
    Applying early gives you priority for orientation registration as well as housing registration. If you are applying for scholarships, you have to meet this deadline to meet the early scholarship deadline.

  • Nov 15 - Priority Scholarship Deadline

    To meet this deadline, you must first meet the priority application deadline, then submit your scholarship application. Within 48 hours of submitting your application for admission, your scholarship application will be available in your New Student Center.

    December test scores will be accepted for the Fall application cycle.

    Fellowship applicants have until the final deadline on Feb 1 for letters of recommendation to be submitted.

  • Dec 1 - Priority Financial Aid Deadline

    Priority financial aid deadline for all students. Students with FAFSA forms submitted by this date will receive priority consideration for financial aid.

  • Dec 15 - Final Spring Application Deadline

    Application deadline for spring admission for all students. Last opportunity for students wishing to enroll for the spring semester. All spring applications must be submitted by this date.

  • Feb-May - Submit FAFSA if you haven't already

    You can submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.

  • Feb 1 - Final Scholarship Deadline

    This is the final deadline for all scholarship and fellowship applications. All materials must be received by this date for consideration.

  • Aug 1 - Final Fall Application Deadline

    Late application deadline for fall admission. Last opportunity for students wishing to enroll for the fall semester. All required information must be submitted by this date. Students will be admitted based on the availability of space.
