Registration for Transfer Students

Registration Holds

All transfer students should check UAConnect for any pre-registration holds they may have, including missing immunization records or financial agreements.

Transfer Freshmen

Transfer students with fewer than 24 transferable hours are considered Transfer Freshmen. After being admitted, you are encouraged to register for an Orientation session. If you do not register for orientation, you must contact the advising office for your college to register for your first semester of classes.

New Transfer

Transfer students with more than 24 transferable hours are considered New Transfers. After being admitted, you must contact the advising office for your college to register for your first semester of classes. Consult the schedule of registration periods. You may participate in a specialized online or on-campus orientation session, but it is not required.
