Dual Enrollment lets high school students take college-level courses for college credit. Students who choose to take dual credit, graduate sooner, earn stronger GPAs, and enter college with a clear path forward! Apply now to jumpstart your U of A journey

When to Apply

Students interested in applying to the University of Arkansas for the fall semester are urged to apply early; however, regular fall applications will be accepted until August 1. Students seeking dual enrollment should apply at least one month before the semester of intended enrollment begins.

Admission Process

Follow these steps to complete your application to the University of Arkansas

PLEASE NOTE

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) allows high school students to enroll in college-level courses for credit under certain conditions (see a full overview of ADHE's policy). At the University of Arkansas, students have the option to take courses through dual credit enrollment.

Visit the apply section below to complete and submit the online application for admission.

COMPLETE DUAL ENROLLMENT REGISTRATION FORM

Students should also complete the Dual Enrollment Registration Form, with required signatures, and upload it to their New Student Center.

SEND YOUR TRANSCRIPTS

Request that your counselor send an official high school transcript to the Office of Admissions.

SUBMIT TEST SCORES

Have test scores sent to the University of Arkansas (ACT-0144 and SAT-6866).

ACCEPT OR DECLINE

Notify the U of A of your decision to accept or decline admission.

Applied Through the Common App?

If you applied using the Common App, set up your New Student Center Account using the same email address associated with your Common App application.

Check Your Application Status

Log in with the email address and password you set up before applying. Your Application Checklist will list the outstanding items for your application. View more check status details.

Common Troubleshooting Tips

Visit the reset password page for returning users. Do not create an account using a separate email address. If you need help, please call 479-575-5346.

If you don't receive an account set up email with the subject line University of Arkansas Online Registration, be sure to check your spam folder. We also recommend adding uofa@uark.edu to your email contacts list to avoid important emails being delivered to the wrong folder. If the email isn't in your spam folder, use the Forgot Password feature to receive a new email.
