Prepare for Advising

For the best advising experience, please review your college's pre-orientation information.

Want to make the most of your advising time? Take a quick look at the transfer degree pathways your advisors will use—so you know what to expect and can plan confidently.

The transfer pathways used for the TAP program are the official degree pathways from NWACC to the University of Arkansas, and the pathway you follow depends on your intended major. If there isn’t a pathway that matches your major, academic advisors from both NWACC and the U of A will work together to create a personalized plan that supports your goals and keeps you on track.
Please note: Tap students may enroll in a maximum of 5 credit hours at the U of A each semester.

As a reminder, students participating in the TAP program are expected to complete the majority of their coursework at NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), in accordance with program guidelines and partnership agreements with the University of Arkansas.
